My journey into yoga began with the desire to feel like me again after having a chronic digestive dis-ease for several years that left me seeing my body as the “enemy.” Through meditation, yoga, nutrition and lifestyle changes, I reclaimed my life, my love for me and gave me a way to be on a healing journey for my chronic issues. I want to give you the same path to healing I found and bring you closer to yourself again. Additionally, I want to build a reservoir of strengths within you that you can take from when times are tough (stressful times or times when your chronic dis-ease is troubling you).
I am a certified RYT-200 yoga instructor, practicing yoga since 2013. Additionally, I am an autogenic training practitioner since my teenage years. I incorporate my research into essential oils, crystals, and mindfulness techniques into my practice. As a researcher at heart, I will make sure I understand the intricacies, modifications, and uses of each posture and pick the asanas and other mindfulness techniques that would benefit you personally the most.
My classes will focus on you as the whole person, but will also reflect a specific focus of what is troubling you most.
I firmly believe that you hold the power to heal yourself within you because we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
